G'Day Mate! Let's Go Down Under!

Join the Wild Bunch on Saturday, December 2nd for the 14th World Famous Wild Game Dinner! We'll be partying Down Under with an Australian theme. When you attend the Wild Game Dinner, you ensure the Lake Placid Noon Rotary Club will be able to continue to provide scholarships and small grants to our community.

Funds are distributed throughout the year in educational and charitable projects both locally and internationally. Over the past 13 years, more than $300,000 has been raised.

Of course, there's wild game (and some not-so-wild food, too). Enjoy some old favorites like fried turkey, smoked pulled pork, and cowboy caviar. Then move on up to something a little more exotic like fried gator tail, venison, frog legs, swamp cabbage or snake cake (it's better than it sounds!) This year, the theme will be Australian with great choices like emu and kangaroo! And no, you don't have to try anything you don't like! Find a complete list of WGD foods here.

Did we mention there are prizes? Each paid ticket entitles you to a cool limited edition Wild Game Dinner T-shirt AND enters you in a drawing for door prizes. There are live auctions and silent auctions and everyone goes home with the warm feeling of doing good for the community and others in need. Some of our auctions feature artwork by renowned area artists. You'll find auctions and raffles for jewelry, guns, wildlife art and photography, gift baskets, personal watercraft, ATVs, and so much more. It's a great place to do your Holiday shopping!

 

ENTERTAINMENT

It's gonna be One Hell of A Ride with the Jack Michael Band. Hailing from Punta Gorda, Jack Michael is an original artist who's played Nashville and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee as well as all over Florida. He's opened for many top acts, including Reba McEntire, David Ball, Tracey Lawrence, Chris Young, Craig Wayne Boyd, Colt Ford, Shenandoah,and Lee Roy Parnell. It's only $100 to attend the Wildest Party in Town! Admission includes an awesome commemorative T-shirt and all you can eat of our delicious prepared foods. Beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks are complimentary - a cash bar is also available. You'll enjoy all the entertainment and be registered for door prize drawings.

SPONSORSHIPS

Sponsorships are still available and all sponsors receive FREE tickets to the event and their name on the back of the commemorative T-shirt.. They are given many advertising placements, including banners, print advertising and callouts during the event. They also have the opportunity to purchase addtional tickets at a reduced rate. Sponsorships range from $300 to $8000.
